What does an ADHD Coach do?

If you've never heard of ADHD Coaching and don't know whether it could be useful for you / your colleague / your peers / your family or friends, I'm here to tell you!

It's goal-oriented and centres on practical strategies to help people manage their ADHD-related challenges in daily life, these are oftentimes associated with Executive Functioning Skills. A list of these can be found on my page here, but they’re about improving organisation and motivation, time management, and setting personal or professional goals (big or small!). Coaches are trained to work collaboratively with clients to build routines and skills for better functioning.

In my case, every session is designed with an Executive Functioning Skill in mind, using tools and information to help you shift your habits and behaviours within these skills. Sessions are also there to ensure that ADHDers use their strengths to their advantage.

As an ADHD Coach, I'm here to cheer clients on whilst supporting them to actually get shit done. I know a lot about why and where they struggle, specifically if they work within the creative or marketing industries. However, I also know that they have some super strengths that make them really great at a lot of things. It's my job to figure out how to cut through the overwhelming noise and hurdles they face.

In short, ADHD Coaching is there to keep you accountable to the things you set out to do and achieve. It’s a weekly (frequencies may vary) check in that allows you to speak freely about the challenges you face with someone who understands your symptoms and empathises with you.

Even though I'm an "outsider" and don't have ADHD myself, I have the insider knowledge to be able to help.
